The pair are a sort of mirror for Whis and Beerus in Universe 7 — though Champa and Beerus are quite different in demeanor and appearance, while Vados and Whis seem to be pretty similar to each other, except for the fact that there might be a power difference between the two. Vados actually trained Whis in martial arts, and has stated herself that she is “a little bit stronger” than him, though Whis quickly retorted that she has not trained him in the past 1000 years. Regardless, Vados possesses unfathomable power — she also knocked out her respective God of Destruction with one blow to the neck, and has displayed the ability to destroy a whole planet a great distance away by lightly tapping her staff.
